Gold or other materials
Most popular material to make engagement or wedding rings are gold.
There are yellow, white and rose gold, of purity which determines how "deep" is the colour. This purity is called "hallmark". In veimotti we use 585 purity gold, because it is most durable and with best quality/price ratio. If you have your own gold - it can be used to make your jewellery. However we can make not event rings, but as an example jacket pins, or other jewellery not only from gold, but from silver, plattinum or other materials.
How jewellery is made?
is determined how a diamond's facets interacts with light. There are round, pear and other shaped diamonds. However round, with 57 facets are the best and mostly used in our jewellery
What determines the price?
is a measure of a purity and rarity of the stone. From lowest to highest: I3-I2-I1-SI2-SI1-VS2-VS1-VVS2-VVS1-FL.
FL clarity stones are mostly used for investment opportutinies. Most jewellery stores uses I-SI quality stones, but we hand select only best quality/price ratio diamonds by your needs: SI-VVS.
Warranties
means natural tint inhered from nature in white diamonds. It is measured by alphabetical letters from D to Z. Where D means colorless and again, mostly used for investment. For jewellery we look best price/quality ratio D-H diamonds which means nearly colorless.
How long does it take?
determines weight of diamond (and means size). It is most important aspect when choosing your ring and during our consultation we try to look for your needs. As an example:
1 carat = 0.2 gram
1 carat = ~6.5mm diamond
0,5 carat = ~5mm diamond
0,1 carat = ~3mm diamond
